In which cities of Iran or which regions can pistachios be cultivated economically?
When they say economic cultivation, it means that its planting is cost-effective. Iranian Pistachio The best place for pistachio planting in Iran is a region that is relatively cold in winters (about 1200 hours of temperature below 6 degrees) and from March, when it is green time. It is possible that the air temperature should not fall below zero degrees and in summer the temperature above 25 and below 40 degrees is desirable and the relative humidity is about 40%.
Various parts of Iran, such as Rafsanjan and Damghan, which were the cradles of pistachios, will no longer be economical to grow pistachios in them, the temperature has increased sharply, the level of underground water has decreased sharply, and the relative humidity of the air has reached about 10%.
