Pistachio flower bud development

Pistachio flower formation begins in early spring with the Iranian Pistachio growth of the terminal vegetative bud of each branch and the flower buds begin to grow as lateral buds next to each leaf. The growth of sub-clusters begins after the development of the main clusters and the flowers are located laterally and laterally on them.

About a month later, the sepals form, and after a short, rapid growth, they stop growing. By the end of June, the flower buds, which are the same as next year's flower clusters, are complete, the inflorescence structure is completely different, and the male and female flower buds become dormant, which lasts until October.
